Paperless Coffee Filter Care Guide

Paperless Coffee Filter Care Guide

Care Instructions

  • Before First Use: Thoroughly rinse the filter with hot water, similar to how you would pre-wet a filter when hand-dripping coffee. This helps remove any residual odours or particles and prepares the filter for optimal extraction.

  • After Each Use: Discard the used coffee grounds, then rinse the filter by pouring tap water through it as if washing away the remaining grounds. It’s easier to clean if you rinse it before the grounds dry and stick.

  • Deep Rinse: After discarding the grounds, clean the filter under running water using a brush. Spraying water from the outside as well helps remove fine particles stuck on the inside.

  • Drying: After washing, place the filter in a dish rack or similar spot to air dry. Make sure it is completely dry before storing. Storing it while wet can cause mold or unpleasant odours, so we recommend drying it in a well-ventilated area.

  • Regular Maintenance: Boiling the filter periodically will help maintain a consistent extraction speed.
